Network Marketing: Marketing Tools That Work Now!

Why is it that over 95% of Network Marketers fail? You must understand that the failure rate in Network Marketing is not a result of any company or product, but in fact is due to the lack of knowledge and experience of the novice entrepreneur!

Unfortunately the novice predictably spends themselves out of business long before they have conquered the learning curve involved with any company and product. As they are succumbing to the realization that failure in their new endeavor is fast approaching upon the horizon they start searching for new and better opportunities because clearly the one they are involved in; sucks!!

So what happens is that they jump to the new and better opportunity, just to come to the same conclusion they had about the first opportunity, just a few months down the road. Now, whether they jump to a third and even forth opportunity usually depends on the level of risk they are willing to endure with their cash; but in most cases is dictated by the credit limit on their credit cards! Refusing to accept responsibility, they choose to play the role of the victim, and are quick to tell everyone they know that Network Marketing is only a scam and doesn’t work!

Let’s take a look at how they got there in the first place. Let’s assume for the sake of argument that the new opportunity we are looking at is called XYZ Juice Co. In month one we pay out; $50 as a dealer sign up, $50 for the company replicated website to market our new business and of course don’t forget the $200 for the product auto-ship.

In month two we have completed our training provided through the company and because we want to create a down-line to maximize our income we start recruiting utilizing Business Opportunity Leads.

So our expenditures in month two amounts to: $50 for the company replicated web site, $200 for the company product auto-ship and about $100 per week for Business Opportunity Leads which is our businesses advertising expense. This all equals $650 for the month! Now history has shown us that the newbie in the business has to develop their phone skills before they have any measurable success with recruiting; which usually takes about 90 days.

So, month 1, $300, and month 2, 3 and 4 at $650 each for a total of $2,250! So, have they spent themselves out of business before they even got off the ground? Probably!

So far we understand the problem and have described the battle, but what’s the solution. You may have heard this saying before: “The answer is always in the question!” The term; Network Marketing, in itself is quite deceiving! It’s a noun followed by a verb; but in reality it’s actually two verbs when you look at what the term means. In this case; Networking and Marketing. One comes very natural but the other requires knowledge.

Networking is something that we learn very early in life and is part of our social structure. If we have a need or a problem we simply seek help or advice from those around us. In some cases, we ask those around us to refer us to someone who might have the solution if they are unable to help. This is not unlike a salesperson asking for the sale and then asking for a referral; therefore; Networking.

Now knowledge can be obtained by trial and error but as described earlier, the cost associated with the trial and error method in relation to the Network Marketing Business usually results in catastrophic financial failure. In addition, the party involved has not learned any lessons and is destined to repeat the failure in another opportunity.

Face it, if you only had to assist experienced marketers to fine tune and perfect their Networking skills, your roadway to success would no longer be littered with the dead bodies of Network Marketing Wanbie’s!

So here is your call to action. It matters not at what stage of this great adventure we call Network Marketing that you find yourself at; if you are suffering from information overload, if you are not experiencing the success you desire, then perhaps it’s time to hit the pause button and step back to evaluate your position.
